Junior PR manager

Experience: preferably over 2 years

Location: Near Radlett, Hertfordshire

PR strategy

  • Assisting the Head of Marketing in creating impactful PR strategy for key brands, new launches and new brands.
  • Grow brand awareness of Louella belle and its brands to audiences through creative PR communication from creative mailers, events, Q&A lives, social communities etc.
  • Work with key areas of the business including marketing, finance, digital agency etc to create a 360 degree approach.
  • Identify and develop PR opportunities in a range of differing executions ie influencers, bloggers, ambassadors, print, online titles, events, desksides etc.
  • Regular internal PR communications with both UK and global teams providing updates, sharing successes/challenges and Louella Belle’s needs in the UK.

Influencer/Social Community building

  • Seek out new relationships with industry influencers, both B2C and B2B.
  • Build relationships with top UK influencers and key media at the Beauty Editor/Director levels.
  • Cultivate partnerships with influencers and ambassadors across social media channels such as Instagram, facebook, pinterest, twitter etc.
  • Create exciting PR events ranging from 1-2-1s to launch events, creating hype and excitement.
  • Secure best-in-class coverage across target influencers to actively drive brand sales and growth.
  • Cultivate formal and informal brand ambassadors to maximise relevancy and improved positioning for the brand in partnership with marketing.
  • Explore and develop new ideas along side our Content Manager for generating more revenue streams from social media traffic channels.

Competitor Analysis

  • Research top influencers, competitors, and trends in our industry.
  • Share awareness of key competitors and their activities/NPD.
  • Monitoring any methods or developments from competitors that might be beneficial to our brands.

Product/Technical Knowledge

  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our entire product line, acting as a champion at all times.
  • Elevate your technical knowledge of key brands.
  • Ensuring you are well-versed in the USPs of each product and brand.

Evaluation

  • Provide a weekly report summarising all PR activity and coverage, sending both internally and to suppliers.
  • Providing a monthly report evaluating success and impact of particular campaigns with recommendations for follow-up and future developments.
  • Compiling quarterly PR overview reports- reviewing previous quarters campaigns within the next quarter’s rationale.
  • Conducting regular media audits to establish press perception of our brands and how we can further engage them.
