Business Development Manager – East Anglia

We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to grow sales and presence for multiple brands in the Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire and East Anglia areas. The role would involve creating strategic planning for developing new business whilst growing and developing existing business. The successful candidate will be able to deliver a high level of face to face service as well as having the confidence to build relationships and open new business through cold calling and following up on leads generated through trade exhibitions and advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working toward achieving targets for existing business your main role will be to open up new business opportunities within your area.
  • Journey planning and territory management.
  • Presenting our products to potential clients at all levels.
  • New Product Launch and promotions - communicating these to our clients to maximise sales.
  • Exhibitions - responsible for assisting with trade shows and events.

Essential traits and skills:

  • Two years’ experience in a sales role, preferably in the health & beauty sector.
  • It is essential to be able to communicate on all levels.
  • Punctual and driven, with excellent time and management skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential along with initiative and creativity and adaptability.
  • Fluent, accurate and persuasive command of written and spoken English.
  • Qualified beauty therapist or nail technician would be an advantage but not essential as full product training is provided.
  • Some travel to Head Office in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire involved, candidates must be willing to stay away from home when required.
