Louella Belle is a cosmetic distribution company that has been established for some 25 years. We specialise in distribution of nail care brands which in most cases we have the sole UK distribution rights to. This is a fantastic opportunity for a digital marketer with creative flair to further their career by assuming responsibility for evolving the online marketing presence at a company with a respected and established image in the professional beauty industry. You will be joining an expanding in-house marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing.

We are currently seeking a Content Marketing Executive to help support our marketing team in driving our brands forward. The role involves working with the internal team and external agencies to implement a digital marketing strategy across multiple brands and websites. You will be responsible for content creation across all of our digital and social platforms, devising creative campaigns for our channels.

The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in content marketing with a clear understanding of online marketing and social media. You will also need strong proofreading, copy and storytelling skills. This position suits someone searching for a highly creative role with the ability to implement a digital marketing plan and play a vital role in its development.

Key Responsibilities:

Online:

  • Day-to-day content management of two Magento websites.
  • Writing copy and uploading images for both a B2B and B2C website.
  • Working in conjunction with our Web & Graphic Design Manager to ensure online presence is optimised and on brand.
  • Regularly test user experience.

E-Mail Marketing:

  • Creating an effective email marketing calendar, devising new and innovative ways to target customers and drive business using Dot Mailer.
  • Working to compile strong copy and send highly appealing email marketing campaigns to our customer databases.
  • Compile regular reports to measure performance of campaigns and ensure ROI.
  • Working closely with the rest of the team to create and implement marketing campaigns for existing products and new launches.

Social Media:

  • Day to day management of social media calendar.
  • Creating compelling copy and content that engages our customers, across all social media channels.
  • Compiling monthly analysis on social channels, reporting on trends and results from campaigns.
  • Keeping up-to-date with developments and opportunities in the social marketing world, using this knowledge to keep the company ahead of their competition.

Digital Advertising:

  • Managing creative campaign calendar and overseeing its implementation through digital marketing agency.
  • Working with digital marketing agency and the wider team to optimise all marketing assets for use across marketing channels.
  • Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments.

Essential traits and skills:

  • Degree educated – preferably with a digital or marketing qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in content creation, online marketing and social media.
  • Experience of managing multiple social media channels and generating positive results.
  • Excellent knowledge of email marketing, in particular Dot Mailer.
  • Strong creative skills and interest in online technology and social media trends.
  • Some graphic design knowledge is preferable but not essential.
  • Passionate about the beauty sector.
  • Results driven with customer experience focus.
  • Strong time management skills and an ability to manage multiple channels at once.
  • Can communicate and work well with a wide range of people.

We are currently seeking a Brand Marketing Assistant to help support our marketing team in driving our brands forward. 

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong knowledge of social media and online. PowerPoint, Word and Excel experience is required as is the ability to work accurately to deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a ‘can do’ attitude, great people skills and willingness to learn. In return you will experience the buzz of working in a busy / dynamic company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Copywriting and proofing all marketing materials.
  • Supporting social media and digital marketing strategy.
  • Helping with PR planning for new product launches.
  • Maintaining databases across all platforms, ensuring contacts are up-to-date.
  • Managing press cuttings on media monitoring website and downloading / filing as necessary.
  • Supporting with events and exhibitions.
  • Assisting with research, report writing, campaign strategy and implementation.
  • Monitoring brand presence and mentions across print, digital and social – Identifying coverage opportunities.
  • Managing all samples and product send-outs.
  • Supporting the wider marketing team with ad hoc admin tasks.
  • Communicating with the brands and their global teams.
  • Be responsible for developing a wide range of marketing collaterals and resources.
  • Managing the creation of graphic elements.
  • New Product Launches: manage new product development and delivery to market by coordinating all the aspects of the marketing mix.
  • Market Research: conduct thorough market research to support the NPD process / and to facilitate brand positioning in the target markets.
  • Provide ideas for improving the marketing policies, procedures and strategies for the brand.
  • Responding to all sales requests about promotion, products, services etc. and other related activities.
  • E-commerce assistance.

Essential Traits and Skills:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience in marketing and PR, ideally within both trade and consumer
  • Strong, creative ideas with commercial goals
  • Experience with social media publishing tools, email marketing platforms and e-commerce website highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of graphic design and software is beneficial
  • Interest in digital and influencers
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Experience and interest in the beauty sector is highly advantageous
  • Good people management skills, but very hands on and happy to implement campaigns in-house
  • Event organisation experience is preferable but not essential
