POSITIVITY
This weeks wellbeing focus is positivity. Focusing on having a positive attitude, or looking for the good in a situation, in order to reduce stress and manifest the good to improve your wellbeing.
Focus On The Good When we are stressed, it is all to easy to focus on the negative, but try to take time to think of all the things you’re grateful for, it can help refocus and leave you feeling a bit more positive. Make a gratitude list of everything you are happy and grateful for, be specific! This will help you to realise who and what you value in your life and how much you have to be thankful for. We spend so much time wishing for more when we should be appreciating how much we have!
Positive Company
Spend time with those who make you happy and feel good! Surround yourself with people who make you feel comfortable and at ease. Being around those you feel safe with will allow you to grow and develop as a person as you are able to be yourself which helps to increase confidence, create a sense of empowerment and reassures that you are loved by those around you.
Positive Mindset
Start every day on a positive note, focus on more positive expressions to change the tone of your thoughts. Having a positive attitude will mean you are more likely to see more opportunities as you will be focusing on the good in every situation making you more focused on problem solving and manifesting positivity in your life.
Laugh!
Kids laugh about 200 times per day; adults laugh an average of 15 times per day.
Do something that makes you laugh, watch a funny movie or play a fun game. Laughing can actually relieve pain as it triggers the release of endorphins, the body's natural feel-good chemicals. This thenpromotes a sense of well-being and happiness.
What are your favourite ways to help you feel more positive?
