Setting boundaries is essential for keeping a positive work/life balance.
We recommend the following:
- Have a set “work area’, this makes it easier for you to clock off when your hours are done.
- Manage your time wisely and set a time to finish work every day, sticking to a schedule.
- Make plans for your after-work hours. Have something to look forward to every day. For example, going for a walk, baking a cake or a video call with your friends.
- Whether you’re working a full day at home or even a few hours, having a lunch break is important. Stop for around 30 minutes – 1 hour and let your mind rest and switch off for a while.
