After you’ve prepped the nail, follow these steps to create some Halloween nail art!
Apply one or two coats of Bride, to your preference.
Apply Forbidden Fruit, Summer Crushin’ and Alluring to a sponge and colour blend onto the tip and cure for 30 seconds.
Apply Glossing Gel to the entire nail, cure for 30 seconds and cleanse.
Apply Swag in a straight line across the width of the nail and a third of the way up the nail and cure. After this, using a dotting or brush tool draw the head stone on using Swag and cure.
Use Swag to draw the cross on top of the head stone and the grass, cure and cleanse.
Use Bride as a base coat to enhance the colour then Hotzy and Juiced on a sponge blend these shades repeatedly back and forth up the nail, cure and repeat till you get your desired colour intensity.
With a striping brush and Metro create straight lines using long strokes for the web and cure. Repeat if necessary to intensify the colour.
Then paint the curves using Metro, turning the nail to get a nice curve and flash cure each curve for 5 seconds. Finally do a full cure for 30 seconds.
To create the spider, use a fine detail brush and Swag to make a circle for the body. To make the legs I just used a little flicking motion. Cure for 30 seconds.
Paint your base using Temptation for the background then cure, apply a second coat if needed.
Use the colour Bride and create your skeleton, start with the head then the spine, ribs, arms and legs with the fine detail brush and cure.
To create the heart, use the shade Hotzy using the fine detail brush and cure.
Then use Temptation with the dotting tool for the eyes and nose and the fine detail brush for the mouth and cure.
Finally, apply Glossing Gel, cure and cleanse.
